Tir-nan-Beo
   In Celtic myth ‘the Land of the Living’, one of the distant lands to which the leaders of the Tuatha Dé Danann fled after their defeat by the Milesians. Other names were Hawaiki, ‘the Land of Youth’, Tir-Tairn-Gire’, ‘the Land of Promise’, Mag-Mell, and Hy-Brasil.
